COLUMBUS, Ohio –
The Defense Federal Community Equal Employment Opportunity Federal Women’s Program will host the 2017 Women of the Year Luncheon and Women's Leadership Summit Mar. 22.
The event takes place at the Armed Forces Reserve Center on Defense Supply Center Columbus. The Summit is open to for all Defense Federal Community employees to attend.
The event’s keynote speaker is Jenny R. Yang, commissioner of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Her presentation will interpret this year's theme “Honoring Trailblazing Women in Labor and Business”.
The Summit will also offer workshops and a diverse panel of women representing various backgrounds who will share their career experiences to enable participants to enhance their leadership skills.
The Women of the Year Luncheon costs $20 and tickets are available at the entrance of the DSCC Operations Center (Bldg. 20) cafeteria until Mar. 17.
