Nominations for DLA Land and Maritime Internal Rotation Program

The DLA Land and Maritime Internal Rotation Program is accepting nominations. The purpose of the Internal Rotation Program is to provide employees with functional, cross-functional and leadership development through a wide range of practical experiences that provide participants with a broader view of DLA Land and Maritime. The program ensures workforce capabilities match present and future mission requirements through DLA’s Talent Management initiative.

DLA Land and Maritime employees GS-11 through GS-13 are eligible for nomination to the 10 internal rotation opportunity/assignment positions (see MOTD or eWorkplace for details). These assignments have an allocation as follows:

1- Shipyard to Columbus (HM, KM, NM, and PM)

1- DLR to Columbus (ZG, ZI, and ZL)

8- Columbus

Note: Columbus has funds set aside for both the Shipyard associate and the DLR associate for six months TDY participation.    

Nomination packages must be submitted through the nominee’s chain of command to Marcia.Mitchell@dla.mil, DLA Land and Maritime Culture Division, internal rotation program manager by Jan. 24.  Internal rotation position opportunity descriptions and nomination documents are available on the Internal Rotation eWorkplace site Incomplete packages will be screened out.
