Poland –
A recent video added to the Defense Logistics Agency’s YouTube video lineup shows that wherever a Warfighter goes – Poland, Djibouti, or Korea – DLA Disposition Services is there to help our nation’s best with the removal and reutilization of excess government property, the environmentally responsible disposal of hazardous waste, and the stretching of American taxpayer dollars.
The new video includes a success story from Poland, where soldiers living in remote areas for nine months at a time, “many living out of a duffel bag,” benefit from deliveries of excess gym equipment and other items from DLA Disposition Services. Wall lockers, for example, allowed soldiers to start hanging up their clothes and displaying personal pictures. The shelters housing the gym area also received exercise equipment like free weights, treadmills and spin cycles.
