Brown felt that DLA Anniston’s first Women’s Equality Luncheon was educational, motivational and beautiful.

“I cannot describe the excitement I felt being given such a wonderful opportunity to stand before such a distinguished group of successful businesswomen and share a small part in their many accomplishments. Just having a brief opportunity to look back and reminisce on how far women have come since given the right to vote was amazing, and to be able to share a few words to encourage women that although endurance is part of the many challenges we must face, we are strong, innovative and will continue to endure and be successful and rise to the top and be seen as equals,” said Brown.

“Don’t ever allow anyone or anything to prevent you from pursuing your dreams or goals,” added Beavers.
