Aviation captain named DLA’s 3rd quarter Company Grade Officer

Defense Logistics Agency’s Company Grade Officer of the Quarter for the 3rd quarter fiscal 2017 is DLA Aviation’s own Air Force Capt. Daniel Musleve who is currently assigned to the DLA Aviation, Strategic Acquisitions Programs Directorate where he serves as a logistics career broadening officer.

Air Force Col. John Waggoner, director, Customer Operations Directorate, DLA Aviation nominated

Musleve because he is an exemplary officer in the every aspect of his military duties.

“Whether it is steering one of our many special projects, volunteering in the community, expanding his logistics knowledge, or pursuing Life Cycle Logistics Level I and upgrade qualification as a logistics readiness officer, he embodies the whole person concept,” Waggoner said.

Musleve has effectively managed more than 389,000 National Item Identification Numbers supporting critical item stock levels across 53 sole-source suppliers and numerous weapons systems.

“Capt. Musleve is dedicated to exceeding the program requirements while providing the best possible support to DLA Aviation’s daily mission,” Waggoner said.
