What is your job title, and what do you do, specifically? As a customer support specialist, I work the Unfilled Order Report by verifying available quantity on and off station, submitting post-award referrals, requesting expedite delivery of contracts and shipping information on delinquent contracts, locating surplus and lateral supports and by researching the national item identification number for a suitable alternate.
What do you like most about your job? I like being able to see results from putting effort into locating hard-to-procure items and creating a direct impact on the warfighter.
What kind(s) of training and education helps your work performance in your current role? I attended United States Marine Corps Aviation Supply School in Meridian, Mississippi.
