Since employees’ adaptability and mental and emotional wellness may be affected by the pandemic, DLA Human Resources is reminding the workforce that Employee Assistance Program resources can help ease anxieties.
EAP is an agency-paid, confidential program available to all DLA civilian employees and their family members. From initial telephonic consultation and assessment to short-term counseling and referrals, the EAP offers 24/7 assistance every day of the year.
Through EAP’s online resources, employees can access articles, videos and webinars on topics relating to parenting, caregiving and stress management during difficult times. Employees can also learn about coronavirus myths and misinformation, treatment and prevention.
