Next DLA Land and Maritime commander announced

The Department of Defense announced June 2 that U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Kristen Fabry, director of logistics, fleet supply and ordnance for U.S. Pacific Fleet, will succeed Rear Adm. John Palmer as commander of the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime.

Her previous shore assignments include positions at the Naval Supply Systems Command, Naval Surface Force, Afloat Training Group Pacific Northwest, U.S. Transportation Command, Navy Supply Corps School and U.S. Fleet Forces Command.

She has served aboard USS San Diego, USS Decatur, USS Abraham Lincoln and USS John C. Stennis in addition to deployments in support of Operations Uphold Democracy, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Southern Watch and New Dawn.

The change of command is scheduled for July 17 at the Defense Supply Center Columbus.
