2020 Ohio State University Virtual Fall Career and Internship Fair

Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Engineering and Technical Support Directorate participated in a Virtual Career Fair with the Ohio State University on Sept. 15, 2020. This online event connected employers with students, recent graduates, and alumni seeking both internships and full-time employment.

The DLA virtual booth recruits spoke to several potential applicants. Attendees from a variety of disciplines were interested both internship opportunities and full-time employment.

Topics of interest included career progression (e.g. Pathways program, PACE), job roles within DLA such as HazMat, Document Standardization, Audits, Testing, work-life balance, and benefits such as  telework, flexible hours, credit hours, exercise/wellness program, tuition assistance program, reasonable accommodations, loan forgiveness, to name a few. Many attendees were excited to learn about the possibilities and benefits of a career with the federal government.
