Departing DLA Indo-Pacific leader lauded

By DLA Public Affairs

Defense Logistics Agency Indo-Pacific leaders and employees bid farewell to one of the agency’s key leaders at Camp Humphreys, Korea, June 7.

DLA Indo-Pacific Asiana Chief Rodney Wrotten joined colleagues and friends at a ceremony celebrating his illustrious career with DLA.

DLA Indo-Pacific’s deputy military commander Army Col. Julia Bell praised Wrotten for his service in Korea where he was an essential member of the DLA Indo-Pacific regional command team.

Among Wrotten’s most notable accomplishments was his instrumental effort during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine operations. He leveraged the Korea operations and synchronization operations to establish positive command and control for all Korea and Japan-based regionally assigned activities and respective lines of effort in support of United States Forces Korea and United States Forces Japan. Wrotten also planned and executed various combined command post training events, as well as stock positioning of subsistence, construction and medical materials, and repair parts.

Wrotten commended his teammates in Korea and Japan for their leadership, expertise and mission-focused warfighter support.

His next assignment will be with the Air Force Reserve Command at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
