Land and Maritime announces 2022 Hall of Fame inductees, to induct 2020 and 2021 honorees in combined ceremony

Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Deputy Commander Kenneth Watson has announced the inductees into the 2022 DLA Land and Maritime Hall of Fame. Four former Land and Maritime leaders, including two from Maritime Supplier Operations, one from Land Customer Operations and one from Business Process Support, will be inducted in a combined ceremony later this summer along with official inductions for the Classes of 2020 and 2021. The two previous induction ceremonies were delayed due to the pandemic.

The DLA Land and Maritime Hall of Fame was established to honor and preserve the memory of past associates who demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication to duty, and contributions in supporting the DLA mission.

“DLA Land and Maritime has a proud legacy of service to our nation that is personified in our workforce,” Watson’s announcement stated. “Since 2005 we have honored that legacy by nominating and selecting inspiring past associates to our Hall of Fame who embodied our values and built upon our civil service heritage in support of the warfighter – purveyors of logistic excellence.”

The Class of 2022 inductees are:

  • David Anders, former Integrated Support Team Chief, Maritime Supplier Operations;
  • Linda Johnson, former Deputy Director, Land Customer Operations;
  • Anna Pino, former Lead Supply Systems Analyst, Business Process Support; and
  • Ben Roberts, former Deputy Director, Maritime Supplier Operations

The Class of 2021 inductee are:

  • Jon Bosworth, former Lead Business Analyst, J8 Finance; and
  • John Taylor (posthumously), former General Maintenance and Operations Supervisor, DLA Columbus Installation Management

The Class of 2020 inductees are:

  • Renee Carter, former Material Planner Supervisor, Land Supplier Operations;
  • Deb Perry, former Chief, Executive Programs Office;
  • Barb Robertson, former Director, Business Process Support
  • Marty Sass, former Acquisition Division Chief, Strategic Acquisition Programs;
  • Deb Schultz, former Lead IT Specialist for HR Applications, DLA Information Operations; and
  • Susan VanMeter, former DLA Enterprise Business System Portfolio Manager, DLA Information Operations

Additional details on the induction ceremony will be finalized and shared in the coming weeks.
