What is your job, specifically? Vehicle Fleet Management assistant. I provide customers with vehicle support.
How does your work impact the overall mission of the DLA Aviation team? By providing vehicle support to DLA employees I help ensure their mission success.
What knowledge, advice or suggestion can you offer to benefit those in your field, or even the entire workforce? Stay true to yourself and always take responsibility in your accomplishments and mistakes.
What are you usually doing when not at work? I spend time with my family.
What is your proudest accomplishment? I served 14 years, 11 months with the Air Force and during my deployments to Iraq I was the lead vehicle commander for my convoy team. I was responsible for finding the most direct and safest route for the convoy. I was proud that our effort helped those on the front line complete their mission.
Who is the most important person in your life? My daughter.
What are your favorite books? Westerns.
What are your favorite television shows? Westerns and war documentaries.
What are your favorite movies? Any John Wayne movie and western or action movies.
What type of music do you most enjoy? Old Country.
Where is your favorite place to vacation? The mountains.
