RICHMOND, Va., Dec. 11, 2015 —
DLA Aviation at Jacksonville Industrial Support Activity Site Commander Navy Commander Maurice Meagher enjoyed a well-earned luncheon Nov. 5 at Naval Air Station Officers Club, Jacksonville, Florida with the entire DLA Aviation team.
The all-hands luncheon was held to celebrate the two-year anniversary of the deployment of the enterprise’s the Inventory Management and Stock Positioning (IMSP) initiative.
“I could not be more proud of my team here and the results they have achieved.” said Meagher. “Our involvement with the forward staging and management of material for the Navy Fleet Readiness Center Southeast programs has improved the daily operational support. We've tackled the task by reviewing demand and supply plans, preventing stock shortages and refining the system.”
