FedMall - DLA Orders and Shopping

General Information

Federal Mall (FedMall) is a web based online ordering platform meant to provide a full-service e-Commerce site to find and acquire off the shelf, finished goods and services from the commercial marketplace and government sources for the Defense Department and other State and Federal agencies. FedMall optimizes the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department of War (DOW) Supply Chain.

Course Description

This course provides comprehensive training on research and managing DLA managed requisitions using key systems such as DLA Orders and Shopping. Participants will gain familiarity with system functionalities and learn how to efficiently navigate each platform.

Through guided instruction, students will explore how to search and filter items using National Stock Numbers (NSNs), NIINs, part numbers, and other identifiers. The course also introduces methods for running detailed queries using requisition numbers to support accurate tracking and order management.

Hands-on exercises will allow participants to practice checking supply status, reviewing stock availability, analyzing Stock-Out Reports, accessing item notes, and conducting shipment tracking to answer critical questions such as "Where Is My Stuff."

By the end of the course, students will have the practical skills needed to effectively research, monitor, and manage DLA requisitions.

Note: A FedMall account is required prior to attending in order to fully participate in the hands-on training. 

Target Audience

DLA, military services, Other Government Agencies, and United States (U.S.) Government sponsored contractors doing business with the U.S. Government.
