Oct. 12, 2018 - Nov. 11, 2018, marks not only Veterans Day but also the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I. Members of the DLA Europe and Africa Enterprise team recently visited the sites of the St. Mihiel Offensive — a key moment in the history of Europe and of the U.S. Army.

DLA Distribution Europe Commander recognizes local German firefighters
Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, Europe Commander, Army Lt. Col.  Jonathan Ackiss, visited local German firefighters to present them with mementos in appreciation for their support during a fire last month at Germersheim Army Depot.
Aug. 29, 2018 - Firefighters from Lingenfeld and Germersheim fire departments were recognized with special coins and certificates of appreciation by the U.S. Army Aug. 21 for their recent emergency response efforts to a fire last month at Germersheim Army Depot.

June 19, 2018 - U.S. forces in the Baltics and Poland for Saber Strike 2018 have easier access to critical supplies like food, fuel and repair parts with the deployment of Defense Logistics Agency personnel to Powidz, Poland.

DLA team marks Memorial Day in visit to WWI commemoration in France

May 31, 2018 - Over the Memorial Day weekend, a group from DLA Europe and Africa traveled to Château-Thierry, France, to participate in the World War I Centennial Commemoration at the Aisne-Marne Cemetery.
