Welcome to the DLAD PGI
Welcome to the Defense Logistics Acquisition Directive (DLAD), Procedures, Guidance and Information (PGI) Web page. DLAD PGI is being developed as a companion resource to the DLAD; a result of the DFARS Transformation effort chartered by the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (USD/AT&L). DLAD PGI is a new, web-based tool for the entire DLA contracting community to simply and rapidly access — via the World Wide Web — DLA procedures, guidance, and information relevant to Agency contracting and related topics. The DLAD remains the source for contracting regulations and agency wide contracting policies, including any applicable deviations and delegations. In other words, DLAD will answer the questions, “What is the policy?” and "What are the rules?" DLAD PGI will connect the DLA contracting community to the available procedures guidance and information and answer the questions, “How can I execute the policy?” and “Why does this policy exist?”
