Airmen deliver 1 million pounds of supplies in 42 days
A C-17 Globemaster III aircrew from the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron loads container delivery system bundles onto the aircraft prior to an airdrop mission in Afghanistan. To track such cargo, DLA and USTRANSCOM use the newly created Sustainment Dashboard, an electronic system that monitors movement all the way to customers’ locations.
