Irby received an exceptional meritorious service award in a ceremony Mar. 13, 2017 for her performance during a 4-month assignment to Fleet Readiness South West at San Diego, California. Her performance while on assignment led to implementing Deputy Materiel Management Chief military positions to be placed at each of the FRC sites.
