JBER Laundry fight stains Alaska wide
Fred Rhoades, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Laundry embroidery expert, creates name tapes at JBER, Alaska, Oct. 20, 2017. The JBER Laundry employs 63 Airmen who collectively wash, dry, press, fold and wrap 7,000 pounds of laundry daily – almost 7 million pounds per year. The JBER Laundry, formerly known as the Quartermaster Laundry has been supporting the laundry needs of the base community since the 1950s.
