San Joaquin’s Jelks Awarded the Bronze Star Medal
DLA Distribution San Joaquin’s Executive Officer Air Force Lt. Col. William Jelks received his second Bronze Star Medal during a morning ceremony with his fellow military teammates. The award stemmed from his time at Forward Operating Base Oqab, Kabul Afghanistan while deployed in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. The distribution center’s Commanding Officer Marine Col. Andre Harrell (right) presented his award.
