Sasebo team expedites MEDEVAC and delivers critical parts to USS Lake Erie
191008-N-CL550-0482 EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 8, 2019) The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70) sails underway in the East China Sea. Lake Erie is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
