Airmen with the 109th Airlift Wing's Logistical Readiness Squadron, New York National Guard, designed and built new crates to carry 25-foot-long skis the wing's LC-130s use to land on snow and ice in the Arctic and Antarctic, to replace older versions that were no longer serviceable.
