Maggie Mieras
Maggie Mieras was recently hired as the new funds and facilities branch chief within the business support directorate at Battle Creek, Michigan. Mieras retired earlier this year from the military after 32 years of service in the Army with 16 years as a logistics officer. She deployed to Iraq in 2007 for a year as the headquarters commander for the Michigan Army National Guard’s 177th Military Police Brigade. She took 11 ROTC cadets from around the Nation to Costa Rica under the university ROTC Cultural Understanding and Language Program in 2011, and also volunteered for a short training team mission to Liberia in 2014 in support to the Armed Forces of Liberia. She holds a Master of Science in Law Enforcement Intelligence and Analysis from Michigan State University. Mieras enjoys traveling, kayaking, biking and volunteering for the American Legion Post #123 out of Kent City, Michigan.
