After 25 years of active duty, George Tyras worked for DLA Energy for 28 years as a DLA Energy quality assurance representative. He completed three assignments in Korea and his final tour was at Defense Fuel Support Point Baltimore, Maryland, before retiring with a total of 54 years of service on June 30, 2020.
