DLA Energy supports Hurricane Ida relief efforts
The DLA Mobile Command Vehicle, manned by the DLA Information Operational team of Joe Clark and Forrest O’Connor, arrived at the Emergency Operation Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to support efforts with Foster Fuels, FEMA, and the state of Louisiana on Sept. 8. DLA Energy activated the FEMA fuels contingency contract on Aug. 28 and began field reception operations and coordinate fuel deliveries on Aug. 30.
