Soldiers recover air-dropped pallets at the Alzey drop zone
Soldiers of the 5th Quartermaster Theater Aerial Delivery Company's, 39th Transportation Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade recover air-dropped pallets Aug. 21, 2015, at the Alzey drop zone. In peacekeeping operations or humanitarian aid situations, food and medical supplies are often air-dropped and such exercises increase the 16th SB's operational readiness for times of crisis and combat.
