The 20-story tall Atlas V rocket launches from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, June 24, 2016. Defense Logistics Agency Aerospace Energy provided highly purified kerosene and liquid oxygen for the engine powering the Atlas booster, as well as high purity hydrazine and dinitrogen tetroxide to maneuver and control the payloads once in orbit. DLA’s involvement in U.S. space exploration began when it provided the antenna that broadcast man’s first walk on the moon. Courtesy photo
