Team effort at Warner Robins saves millions of dollars in Air Force managed F-15 parts
An F-15 Eagle, assigned to the 19th Fighter Squadron, takes off from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. A combined team of Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Warner Robins and DLA Distribution, both located on Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, worked closely with the F-15 Program Office at Warner Robins Air Force Base on the reclamation of nine F-15 Eagle fighter jets. The team’s efforts led to 1,361 individual parts, valued at $220 million in Air Force managed items being reissued to F-15’s in need of these parts.
