Giving back at Mid-Ohio Food Collective
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime military personnel load groceries at the drive-thru distribution area of the Mid-Ohio Food Collective facility in Grove City, Ohio, Jan. 18. Senior leaders, including DLA Land and Maritime Commander Army Brig. Gen. Gail Atkins, spent the morning handing out food to hundreds of needy families in partnership with the collective, which is the largest food bank in the state. The volunteer event was spearheaded by DLA Land and Maritime’s Joint Reserve Force Committee as a way to get involved and give back to the local community.
