Mid-Ohio Food Collective volunteer event
Navy Capt. Scott Wallace and Army Brig. Gen. Gail Atkins load groceries at the drive-thru distribution area of the Mid-Ohio Food Collective facility in Grove City, Ohio, Jan. 18. Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime military personnel spent the morning handing out food to hundreds of needy families in partnership with the collective, which is the largest food bank in the state. Wallace is the director of DLA Land and Maritime’s Maritime Customer Operations Directorate and Atkins is the commander of DLA Land and Maritime and the Defense Supply Center Columbus.
