Bexley conducted its annual Memorial Day observance May 29 on the site of the city’s World War II memorial honoring all from Bexley who served in the Great War. The stone obelisk dedicated July 15, 1945, is engraved with the names of both veterans and fallen. It stands on the site of a former Spanish-American War encampment at Drexel Circle.
