Families of Bexley veterans and fallen heroes gathered at Drexel Circle’s World War II obelisk May 29 for the city’s Memorial Day observance. Army Brig. Gen. Gail Atkins, commander of the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime and Defense Supply Center Columbus, delivered the day’s keynote remarks. Bexley is located a few miles from the neighboring DSCC military installation in Central Ohio.
