U.S. Army’s 248th birthday
In honor of the U.S. Army’s 248th birthday, Soldiers past and present celebrated with a cookout and cake cutting ceremony at Defense Supply Center Columbus’ Mission Park June 14. For nearly two and a half centuries, the Army has dedicated itself to fighting and winning the nation’s wars. And in that time, the Army has offered endless opportunities for service, personal growth and professional development – empowering Soldiers to be part of something greater…to be all they can be.
