Warfighting Strength and Readiness: DLA Energy commander pays homage to Navy’s legacy
The Defense Logistics Agency Energy celebrated the Navy’s 249th birthday at the McNamara Headquarters Complex 17 Oct. 2024 on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The ceremony concluded with a traditional cake-cutting ceremony with DLA Director Army Lt. Gen. Mark Simerly (left) and DLA Energy Commander Navy Rear Adm. George Bresnihan (right), honoring the DLA’s youngest Sailor, 26-year-old Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Maravilha Ndombaxi (center right), an executive chef culinary specialist.
