From red tape to readiness: Sharpening the acquisition edge
Army Maj. Gen. Douglas S. Lowrey, commanding general of U.S. Army Contracting Command, recently visited the 173rd Airborne Brigade's Bayonet Innovation Lab. The 414th Contracting Support Brigade has been instrumental in helping Sky Soldiers acquire tools and materials to facilitate their ability to rapidly produce unmanned aerial systems specifically tailored to mission requirements.
