DLA Forges New Weapons Support Command to sharpen global readiness
Chrissy Schall, DLA Weapons Support (Columbus) operations director, was presented with the McNamara Icon Award July 24, 2026 by DLA Director Army Lt. Gen. Mark Simerly. Schall and co-recipient Chris Collins, DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) operations director, were noted for being instrumental in guiding the transition of the DLA Aviation and DLA Land and Maritime missions that culminated in the activation of DLA Weapons Support.
