Dr. Kristin D. Kremer

Deputy Director, DLA Joint Reserve Force (J9)

Ms. Kristin Kremer joined the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in November 2011 as a Management and Program Analyst.  Her leadership experience includes serving as a Branch Chief, Division Chief and Deputy Director within DLA Strategic Plans and Policy (J5) and DLA Transformation (DT).  She led numerous programs to develop strategy, policy, governance, enterprise process management and process improvement solutions for the Agency.  Additionally, she served as the Chair of the Supply Chain Integration Council (SCI) responsible for evaluating process change initiatives and business case proposals for DLA senior leadership. 

Ms. Kremer is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with over twenty years of active service.  Her last eight years she served as an USAR AGR officer.  Her previous military assignments include the Deputy Military Executive for the Army Reserve Forces Policy Committee at the Pentagon, Operations Officer with the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) in Kuwait and Fort Bragg, Executive Officer and Reserve Officer’s Training Corps instructor at Texas Christian University, Maintenance Company Commander in Hawaii, Maintenance Company Commander in Suwon, South Korea and Air Defense Artillery (PATRIOT) fire control platoon leader in Saudi Arabia.

Ms. Kremer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University – Chicago, a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Baker University, and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice (Terrorism Studies) from American Military University. Her military education includes the Air Defense Artillery Officer Basic Course, the Combined Logistics Officer Advanced Course, the Combined Armed Services Staff School, and the Command and General Staff College.  While at DLA she was selected for and graduated from DoD Executive Leadership Development Program, the OPM Leadership Education and Development Program, and the Harvard Senior Executive Fellows Program.

Her decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4), Army Commendation Medal (2), Army Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal (M), the Parachutist Badge, and various campaign, unit and service awards.
