Logistics Technology Research Overview

The LTR program leverages advanced technologies to improve Warfighter support based on DLA strategic guidance for improving key DLA business functions, such as data analytics, database security, and supply chain risk management.

Strategic Focus

Business Processes: Improve and automate DLA’s processes for key
decision points such as vendor registration/validation.
Supply Chain Risks: Mitigate risks to the supply chain by identifying various sources of data that can be integrated into a comprehensive view of the DLA enterprise, commercial markets, and their global supply chains
Commercial Industry Opportunities: Leverage advances in commercial best practices (e.g. software as a service, platform as a service) and capabilities relevant to DLA business processes.
