Energy Readiness Program Overview
The Energy Readiness Program is a designated Defense Operational Energy Program and is managed under the DLA LOG R&D Program to directly support DOD Class III Bulk fuel and energy supply systems through a multi-faceted approach to addressing issues connected to the entire spans of the system, in conjunction with the military service technical offices.
Strategic Focus
- Fuel Refining and Distribution industry practices that affect Warfighter operational requirements
- Coordinate projects addressing fuel instability and contamination problems
- Coordinate with Military Services to optimize support opportunities for alternative fuel certification efforts
