Microsoft Home Use Program

J6 Strategic Communications

DLA government employees are eligible to participate in the Microsoft Home Use Program.  You can purchase Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 at a discounted price for use on your home computer.

You are authorized to purchase one copy per operating system (Windows and Mac), however if you have previously purchased the current version of MS Office via the HUP, you are not eligible to participate in the HUP until Microsoft releases a new version.

To access the Microsoft HUP web site, visit http://www.microsofthup.com/, choose your country of residence, enter your DLA email address, and click the Submit button.
Microsoft HUP will send an email to your DLA email address. Open this email, and select ‘Display as HTML’ to convert the email to HTML format. Next, copy the personalized link and paste it into your internet browser, then place your order online. If prompted, DLA’s program code is ACE8AF17F2. This program code is for DLA government employees only.  After confirming your order online, the system will prompt you for a personal email address where you will receive the download link to install the Office software on your personal computer.
The cost is $9.95 to download the Microsoft Office software to your home computer. A backup DVD is available for an additional $15.95, and a backup USB is available for an additional $19.95. You may be charged a shipping and handling fee.

It is important for you to know that some products and language versions may not be available at the time you place an order. This program does not offer earlier versions of Microsoft Office Suite bundles.
