Navy Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Brianna Glynn has been named DLA Distribution Junior Non-Commissioned Officer for the third quarter of fiscal year 2017.

As the face of the distribution center’s Warfighter Support Office, Glynn serves as the customer service lifeline between DLA Distribution Pearl Harbor and customers worldwide.

“LS2 Glynn’s technical knowledge and emerging leadership are vital to the support between DLA’s global distribution network and Pacific Command’s 360,000 personnel across 36 nations, sustaining over 1,600 aircraft and 200 ships,” said distribution center commander Navy Cmdr. Sean Andrews.  “Her logistical support assured the operational capability of Naval Shipyard Pearl Harbor and 27 ships and submarines.”

To ensure combat capability of homeported ships and submarines, Glynn expedited over 135 hi-priority shipments.  Additionally, in her role as Staff Duty Officer, she provided 24/7 support to customers, which included the planned staging and delivery of over 1,000 customer orders in direct support of the USS Carl Vinson.

According to Andrews, Glynn’s contributions don’t end with the distribution center.  She has volunteered numerous hours with the American Red Cross, installing fire alarms within the senior community and provided life-saving training on fire response procedures and evacuation routes.

“LS2 Glynn is DLA Distribution’s best and her dedication and performance are exemplary,” said Andrews.
