COLUMBUS, Ohio –
The DLA Land and Maritime Internal Rotation Program is off to a good start.
The pilot program has 10 participants rotating into the following organizations for six months:
- DLA Land and Maritime Business Process Support
- DLA Land and Maritime Small Business
- DLA Land Supplier Operations
- DLA Maritime Customer Operations
- DLA Maritime Supplier Operations
The Internal Rotation Program Manager held a group orientation session for the host supervisors, the rotation participants and the parent supervisors on March 20, 2018. Internal Rotation Action Plan Agreements are signed by all involved. Rotation opportunities are flexible and start dates are negotiable.
The pilot program is limited to 10 positions in general schedule grades 11 through 13. Future iterations of the rotation program are expected to include rotation terms that may extend to 12 months and include associates starting at the GS-7 level. The People and Culture office has secured funds for participants from the Land and Maritime detachments in the future.
