COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Morale, Welfare and Recreation’s Family Services Program concluded their summer series with a seminar focused on retirement in the Operations Center Auditorium Aug. 7.
The first session in June focused on basic information regarding Medicare, Medicare D programs and Medicaid. Associates learned how to receive Medicare, how it works with supplemental insurance and recent changes to the programs.
In July, the Social Security Administration provided information we need to prepare for the future, and to understand our Social Security entitlements.
The final session addressed questions around having enough money at retirement to include retirement income planning, the process of understanding how much income you’ll need during your retirement years to support the retirement lifestyle you want and positioning your assets to provide that income.
