COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime recruiters attended the Central State University’s 2018 Fall Career and Internship fair located in Wilberforce, Ohio, Oct. 17.
Central State University is Ohio’s only publicly funded historically black university, named in honor of the great abolitionist William Wilberforce. It’s affiliated with the African Methodist Episcopal Church and is one of the oldest black-administered institutions of higher education in the nation.
Central State University offers a broad curriculum which includes options for future educators, scientists, engineers and performers, also offers over 30 bachelor’s degree and graduate programs.

Prospective applicants seeking bachelor and graduate level degrees inquired about internships and developmental job opportunities within DLA.
More than 45 current students, military and veterans visited the DLA booth. Their backgrounds included chemical, manufacturing and nuclear engineering, marketing, business administration, transportation, human resources, communications, political science and criminal justice.
Recruiters also shared the good news about DLA’s benefits, tuition reimbursement, flexible work schedules and telework.
