MWR Trek-or-Trot 5K

Associates across the Defense Supply Center Columbus participated in Morale, Welfare and Recreation’s Halloween themed Trek-or-Trot 5k across the installation Oct. 25. Many got into the spirit of the season choosing to dress in costumes for the sixth run/walk event of the year. Best costumes award went to associates dressed as Forrest Gump and Pocahontas. All runners received a special treat from MWR – a 5k themed t-shirt while costume and race winners also received a MWR lunch backpack. Upcoming races include the Rivalry Run Nov. 20 and the Ugly Sweater event Dec. 6.
