DSCC hosts CFC Charity Fair
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime hosted a Combined Federal Campaign Charity Fair in the Buckeye and Cardinal rooms Nov. 27. In the spirit of #GivingTuesday, local charities provided associates information on how funds generously donated through the CFC help out their organization. CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. The 2018 CFC campaign runs through Jan. 11.
