Defense Logistics Agency Pacific has been renamed DLA Indo-Pacific with the signing of DLA General Order No. 09-17. The change follows the renaming of U.S. Pacific Command to U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, which better characterizes the U.S. military’s responsibility and mission in the region.
DLA Indo-Pacific is the agency’s primary liaison to the USINDOPACOM, U.S. Forces Korea, U.S. Forces Japan and Alaska Command. It provides a unified DLA interface for warfighters throughout the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility, integrating DLA support in the region with DLA activities in the continental United States.
