COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Jeanette Bradley, author and founder of 2nd Chance Ministries, shares her personal story of survival and healing after enduring sexual assault and human trafficking. Bradley was the key note speaker for Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response second annual Teal Tea event held April 8. Sexual Assault and Awareness Prevention Month activities like Teal Tea provide individuals with an opportunity to discuss sexual assault in a unique way.
Throughout the month of April, associates are invited to wear teal on Tuesdays to help raise awareness for sexual assault and prevention.
Additional awareness activities include a month long, virtual DLA-wide “Going the Distance to Support SAPR” challenge, as well as local events: Walk a Lap for a Survivor April 17 and SAAPM 5K April 18
