Richmond,Va. –
Army Brig. Gen. K. Todd Royar, incoming commander for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, visited Defense Logistics Agency Aviation on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, June 5. He traveled with members of his staff to learn what AMCOM can do to assist DLA Aviation in providing support to his agency.
While on center, he met with aviation senior leaders and members of the Army Customer Facing Division of DLA Aviation’s Customer Operations Directorate. Aviation leaders discussed industrial and operational support, as well as, aviation forecasting and planning initiatives to increase readiness across Army aviation weapon system platforms. Royar will assume command of AMCOM on June 10.
