COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Defense Logistics Agency Director of Acquisition Matthew Beebe visited DLA Land and Maritime for his bi-annual Senior Procurement Executive visit June 19.
During his visit he facilitated a focus group with the acquisition workforce that included discussions on supply chain security, workforce development and acquisition specific system challenges.
Additional areas broached during his visit covered acquisition workforce certifications and delinquencies, contract quality review, and the Contracting Officer Warrant Program.
The current Department of Defense audit, category management, contract pricing, and readiness generated lively conversation.
Beebe also presented several Land and Maritime associates with a SPE Coin.
